The State Board commemorated the occasion of International Day for the preservation of Ozone Layer by organizing several awareness activities 
across the State through our 12 Regional Offices 6 Laboratories from 7th September 2024 to 13th September 2024. A webinar was conducted at Head Office level where resource person included Sh. Anil Joshi, Member Secretary, HP State Pollution Control Board, Dr Arvind Bhatt, Retd. Professor Himachal Pradesh University, Ms SharanjeetKaur, Scientist from Cnter for Science and Environment. ErChandan K Singh, Environmental Engineer, HPSPCBmoderated the whole proceedings on 13th September 2024.

To commemorate International Day of Clean Air for blue skies 2024 and The International Day for the Preservation of Ozone Layer, a meeting cum awareness program was organised by Regional Office Paonta Sahib on 13.09.2024 at Kala Amb with the various industrial units. The Regional Officer apprised the participants about the importance of ozone layer and it’s protection.
The session also included the detailed discussion on clean air, status of air quality in Kala Amb area and way forward. More than 50 representatives of industrial units were present in the workshop.
