Himachal Pradesh Police Orchestra Team Harmony of Pines has given a memorable performance in India’s biggest Talent hunt Show on Colours TV named Hunarbaaz, Desh Ki Shaan. The Singer of the band Mr Kartik Sharma, a Constable with Himachal Pradesh Police who hails from village Dhiarighat in Solan District has not only made the entire State of Himachal Pradesh feel proud but also District Solan. He belongs to a small family with his father a Retd. Government employee from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and mother a house maker. Kartik did his early schooling was from Model School, Shimla and thereafter graduated in Music from Kotshera College, Shimla. He had been performing at various National and State level before joining HP Police. He had a deep interest for music from early childhood and started performing from a very small age. He along with other co singers and artists mesmerized the judges of the show and gained entry to the next round of the show. The entire crew made a spectacular performance in the auditions held in Mumbai which bagged them a 100 percent score. The judges of the show Mr. Mithun Chakraborty, Actor, Politician and producer, Mr Karan Johar, Indian filmmaker and Ms Parineeti Chopra, Film Actress applauded the band and claimed it as one of the best performances ever. The show was telecasted on 06th February. The Head of the HP Police Orchestra Sub Inspector, Mr Vijay Kumar said, it’s a team effort and the Band would leave no stone unturned to give its best performance. He also thanked his team of 15 artists performing in Mumbai for the performance. The team performs at next level now which would soon be telecasted on Colours TV for which all the artists are working hard in Mumbai. Kartik thanked his Guru from whom he took his initiation and gave the credit of his success to his Guru, and his parents.
