Congress President Kuldeep Singh Rathore has accused the BJP government of increasing its prices due to collusion with cement companies in the state.

In a press conference here today, Kuldeep Singh Rathore said that BJP is trying its best to influence all the four by-elections. Somewhere liquor is being given, somewhere money is being given, and somewhere by intimidation to try to get votes. He said that the Election Commission should maintain its impartiality by keeping a close watch on it.

Rathore said that the Election Commissioner is not even meeting him. He said that no concrete action is being taken on the complaints of the Congress party regarding Model Code of Conduct. He said that the State Congress Committee sent 61 complaints to the Commission, out of which 44 complaints In this were disposed without any reason. 4 serious complaints have been sent to the Election Commission of the Government of India, while 13 complaints have been kept pending. He expressed surprise that now these complaints have been sent when will it be settled, whereas it should have been done before the election.

Rathore questioned the functioning of the Election Commission and said that he feels that the commission is working under the pressure of the government, which is not good for the democracy of the country. He said that people have now made up their mind and this election result will write the victory of Congress in the state assembly elections in 2022.

Rathore accused the Chief Minister of misusing the government machinery in Mandi and moving around with his convoy to hold election meetings. He expressed doubts that booth capturing could take place in the Chief Minister’s constituency, so he urged Congress workers to keep a check. He said that Congress will win these four by-elections with a huge majority and BJP candidates will not be able to save their deposits. He said that this would be the first time in history that any party will face such a huge defeat while in power.

Rathore said that there are many issues in front of the country like inflation, unemployment, bad economy, against which this referendum will be held. There has been an increase in the prices of edible oil, pulses and other essential items are skyrocketing. The BJP does not talk about it. He said that people are eagerly waiting for the elections, which will start tomorrow from October 30 in the state.

Rathore has called upon the voters to participate in this festival of democracy and vote against the anti-people policies of the BJP.
