Mumbai — In a grand celebration of India’s culinary excellence, renowned Himachali chef Nand Lal was honoured with the prestigious “Best Regional Chef of the Year – North India” award at the Better Kitchen Awards 2025, held at Hotel Novotel, Mumbai.
Organised by Better Kitchen India, the event brought together some of the nation’s most celebrated chefs and culinary professionals. Chef Nand Lal was recognised for their outstanding contributions to preserving and promoting Traditional Himachali Cuisine on both national and international platforms.
In a heartfelt message, Chef Nand Lal expressed deep gratitude to Ekta Bhargava, Founder of Better Kitchen, and the entire organising team, stating, “I am privileged to be honoured by Better Kitchen India. This recognition of my work in traditional Himachali cuisine strengthens our resolve. My team at HIMCA and I pledge to continue promoting the rich traditions, culture, and cuisine of my beloved Himachal globally.”
