Today All India Medical Laboratory Technologist Association HP conducted a virtual meeting regarding tha incident that happened at RGKAR medical College Calcutta with a lady Doctor.The incident was condemned by all the members from various Districts & Medical Colleges of H.P. President Sh Rajan Bhimta said that this is a very sad that such incidents are happening with health care professionals those who work with dedication to save the life of people.we have also written a letter to Director Health Services regarding the issue of security & safety of female employees who are giving night duties in emergency labs , blood banks & other clinical labs
.Seperate duty rooms should be given to the female employees to ensure their security.
It is also requested that the Himachal Pradesh Medicare service persons & Medicare service institutions (prevention of violence & damage to property) amendment act,2017, regarding the violation of rights of health care workers mut be notified & implemented as soon as possible.
