AIMLTA Thanks Hon’ble CM Sukhu for Boosting Paramedical Education in Himachal

The All India Medical Laboratory Technologist Association (AIMLTA) extends heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhwinder Singh Thakur Sukhu , for the visionary decision to increase the number of seats in paramedical courses from 10 to 50. This significant step is a milestone in the field of paramedical education, and will immensely benefit the aspiring students of Himachal Pradesh.

Until now, due to limited availability of seats, students were compelled to seek admission in paramedical courses outside the state, often bearing heavy financial burdens. This expansion of seats will open doors for local students to pursue graduate-level paramedical education within their home state.

Paramedics are the backbone of the healthcare system, playing a crucial role in diagnosis, radiology, laboratory services, and operation theatre support. These professionals work tirelessly, day and night, to serve patients in various medical departments across hospitals.

(AIMLTA) respectfully requests the Hon’ble Chief Minister to fill the vacant posts of lecturers and tutors for these paramedical courses by promoting eligible postgraduates from within the existing paramedical workforce, thereby strengthening the quality of education and acknowledging the contributions of professionals in service.

On behalf of (AIMLTA) President Shri Rajan Bhimta, General Secretary Yashwant Kumar, and members Subash Dhanta, Pankaj, Ravinder, Manohar, along with all district associations and members from medical colleges across the state, we express our deep appreciation for this landmark initiative that will shape the future of healthcare and education in Himachal Pradesh.
