RIDE TO PLANT .
On the occasion of National Tree Plantation Day on 28th July 2024 HP Legends Sports Association Shimla organised a tree plantation event at Chamiyana near AIMS Hospital on the theme of Ride to plant Cyclist were flagged off from Ridge by Sh kehar Singh Khachi Vice-chairman Forest Development Board & Mayor of Shimla Sh Surinder Chauhan At Chamiyana first plant was planted by sh Surinder Chauhan Mayor & oath was taken to look after the plants even after the plantation by all the participants.The participants were from legends sports
association,Hike & Bike Cyclist group , students from Stokes School,St Bedes College.RKMV College & other associations.500 trees were planted during the event, mainly deodar ,Ban & Walnut trees were planted.BO Forest sh Sandeep Harnot,D.M forest sh Anil Sonim dr j s pathania were also present.Lunch was also given to the participants after Plantation by the association.
Sh kehar Singh Khachi & Mayor sh Surinder Chauhan appreciated the members of the association for president sh Sandeep Baret,Vice President Sh Rajan Bhimta, General Secratary Dr Parish Thakur,Cashier Sh Raman Jhouta, Assistant Cashier Sh Ramesh Attri,Media manager Sh Aman Jhouta & members Sh Munish Thakur,Sh Jogi Nayak Sh Manjeet (CHITA) & Sh Somesh Thakur for organising a tree plantation event.
