EPFO launched a special campaign for enrolment of unorganised sector workers under Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana (PM-SYM)

Minimum assured pension of Rs. 3,000/- per month to enrolled workers

The Central Government has implemented Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yoan to help overcome the woonomic difficulties of unorganized sector workers during their old age. Under this scheme, mastered workers of the unorganized sector like domestic workers, agricultural workers, constraction workers, street hawkers etc. will be provided a minimum assured pension of 3,000/ on amtaining the age of 60 years

On the occasion of the Azadi ka Amra Mahotsav the Ministry of Buil Development, Goremment of India has selectal 75 districts across India to enl organized sector worker in the age group of 18 to 40 years under the Pradhan Mant Shram Yeap Maandhan Yojana District Kangra of Himachal Pradesh han she been selected among these districts Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India has set a target to anmol at least eight. thousand wo hundred and thirty (230) additional workers under this scheme by 26 July, 2022 be district Kangra. To and the workers under this scheme, a special campaign has been started by EPFO, Regional Office, Shimla. The voten of various organized sectors of district Kangra are being made aware of the Scheme so that maximum mumber of workers may in and benefit from this Schume.

Key perlanat

Minimum assured pension of ₹ 3,000/- per month after attaining 60 years of age.

• On the death of the subscriber, 50 percent of the pension to the spouse of the beneficiary as family pension.

Emphasis on increasing the enrolment under this campaign so that maximum workers in unorganized sector may be benefited from it.

Monthly instalment ranges from Rs.55 to Rs.200 and equal contribution by the Government of India as well.
