Loreto Convent School Tara Hall, Shimla, conducted three interactive sessions

Loreto Convent School Tara Hall, Shimla, conducted three interactive sessions for the students of class VI-VIII on 25 March 2025 in the Gonzaga Auditorium.
The session began with the welcome of the resource persons for the day followed by the felicitation of the guests by Sister Apolina Lakra, the Secretary to the Managing Committee and Community Leader with the Loreto Pin. The sessions were as follows:
ART ACTIVITY: Art activities play a vital role in the holistic development of children. Children learnt various art and drawing techniques, including sketching, shading and colouring. These activities not only foster creativity and self-expression but also develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and problem solving abilities. This activity encouraged teamwork and collaboration among children. It also provided a platform for them to showcase their artistic talents.
DISASTER MANAGEMENT This session was conducted by Ms. Anuradha and team. This workshop was an interactive and engaging session that introduced school children to the fundamentals of disaster management. The workshop covered topics such as disaster awareness, emergency preparedness and safety protocols.
DANCE SESSION: Dance session was conducted by Ms. Rupali. The workshop was an interactive session that explored the world of mudras in Indian classical dance and their significance in storytelling and expression. The children learned simple dance movements that incorporated the madras, focusing on coordination and expression.
The session ended with a vote of thanks by Katyayani Sharma, the Head Girl of the school.
