Annual General Meet of Himachal Pradesh Finance & Accounts Services Officers’ Association Held at Shimla
The Annual General Meet of the Himachal Pradesh Finance & Accounts Services (HPFAS) Officers’ Association was organized on 17th December, 2025 at Hotel Holiday Home, Shimla. The occasion was marked by a ceremonial felicitation of 15 retired officers of the HPFAS cadre, who superannuated from top ranks during the last two years, in recognition of their valuable and dedicated services rendered to various Departments of the State Government.
Shri Devesh Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary (Finance) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, presided over the function as the Chief Guest, while Shri Vijay Wardhan, IAS, Special Secretary (Finance)-cum-Director, Treasuries, Accounts & Lotteries, attended the event as the Guest of Honour.
Addressing the gathering, the Principal Secretary (Finance) appreciated the commendable work performed by HPFAS officers posted in different Departments, Boards, Corporations and Autonomous Bodies of the State. He also released the Civil List of HPFAS Officers on the occasion.
The President of the Association, Dr. Amar Dutt Bhardwaj, expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Association and the entire cadre for the continuous support and encouragement provided by the Finance Department. Shri Vinod Kumar Gautam, General Secretary of the Association, also thanked the Hon’ble Chief Guest and Guest of Honour for their constant guidance and support to HPFAS officers working across various government organizations.
On the occasion, Shri Vijay Wardhan, IAS, felicitated the retired officers along with their family members and also honoured the newly inducted Section Officers of the cadre. The overall working and performance of HPFAS officers in Departments, Boards and Corporations were also reviewed during the meeting.
The present Executive Body of the Association was given an extension for one year with new assignments. The following office bearers were elected to the Executive Committee of the Himachal Pradesh Finance & Accounts Officers’ Association:

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks and reaffirmation of the Association’s commitment towards efficient financial administration in the State.
